SHARING JUST A FEW OF MY FAVOURITES

SOMERSET VENUES

DAIRYHOUSE FARM

Once a cow stall, now a beautiful wedding venue, located on the edge of an ancient woodland in Bere Aller, and overlooks the beautiful Somerset levels.

HUNTSTILE ORGANIC FARM

A truly unique 14th century farmhouse nestled into the foothills of the beautiful Quantocks.

I love everything about this venue and especially how much its ethos matches that of my own.

PENNARD HILL FARM

A venue like no other, offering you an iconic view over the Glastonbury Festival site, the Mendip Hills and beyond.

If it’s a DIY wedding you’re after, you won’t be disappointed.

CHEW VALLEY LAKE WEDDINGS

This beautiful lakeside venue is the home of many memories for me and my family.

It lies on the edge of a hidden valley, surrounded by woodland and spectacular views across Somerset.

ECO-CONSCIOUS SUPPLIERS

SOUTH WEST MARQUEES

South West Marquees are constantly striving to be better and play their part.

They harvest rainwater at their warehouse in Frome. They’ve reduced the distance they travel for events and carry out site visits in an electric car. It doesn’t stop there, where possible, they manufacture marquees in-house and continuously re-use materials, no stone goes unturned.

VAUGHAN’S KITCHEN

Vaughan’s Kitchen, located in Devizes, Wiltshire. These guys have really found their balance.

Healthy food, locally sourced, zero food waste, everything beautifully presented and always served with a smile.

WOODEN RINGS

Looking for an engagement or wedding ring with a twist?

Eco Wood Rings lovingly craft their rings from salvaged and sustainably sourced wood, along with recycled or Fairtrade precious metals.

What I love the most is you can incorporate other material that holds meaning to you, such as beach sand, pebbles, sea glass, and even guitar strings.

Bridal hair & make-up

Not only will Leanna make you look beautiful, but she really cares about her impact on the environment and plays her part to minimise waste. She recycles all paper, cardboard, and plastic, uses glass jars rather than plastic for de-potting, and all disposables, such as mascara and lip wands, are made from bamboo.

What more could you ask for?

Eco-friendly paper flowers

Can you spot the difference?

Sharon, creates beautiful eco-friendly paper flowers, borrowing materials from nature.

She colours the paper with natural plant dyes and loves to use locally dried flowers and grass to make her wedding bouquets fully biodegradable.

Your bouquet will long outlive your wedding and won’t cost the earth.

SOUL DOUGH

Once a Landrover Defender, now a pizza oven!!!

Not only is this a quirky idea, but Edd and his team are really passionate about the environment, sourcing delicious local produce and always using biodegradable packaging.

They’ll even cook and box up any uneaten pizzas at the end of the night, what a winning combination.

WOODEN PALLET LETTERS

Pallet wood to rustic wooden letters with LED bulbs. Owner, Chris, has a real eye for letters.

What do you want your letters to say?

VEGAN WAX MELTS SOMERSET

Vegan wax melts, a scented wedding favour for your guests to take away and make their homes smell beautiful.

PHOTOGRAPHERS & VIDEOGRAPHERS

Rustic wedding, Somerset

Cindy is an absolute dream to work with. She has a heart of gold, an ability to make anyone feel comfortable in front of the camera, and she captures the most incredible moments for you to keep forever.

Dog at wedding

Darren was the photographer for my Sister’s wedding back in 2016. As soon as I glanced my eyes at the vibrant, playful images he took, I knew I wanted him to be the photographer at my own wedding, he was the first supplier we booked!
